RAMOTO Ltd. will carry out the following operations:
- reconditioning of cracked aluminium and cast-iron cylinder heads, valve seat replacement, cylinder head skimming;
- reconditioning of engine valves, valve seats and valve guides;
- reconditioning of damaged crankshaft ends (Audi, VW, etc.);
- cylinder head pressure testing, using steam at 110° C;
- Magnaflux testing of cast iron components for cracks;
- FLEX-HONING of cylinders and blocks;
- reconditioning of injector threads in diesel cylinder heads;
- line boring of camshaft bearings in aluminium cylinder heads;
- line boring of crankshaft bearing seats in aluminium and cast iron blocks;
- flame powder spraying of steel, stainless steel and cast iron parts. HRC 15, 40, 48, 60 can be obtained. Material can be added up to 5 mm in thickness or more if required;
- repair welding of all most widely spread automotive materials with MAC, MIG, TIG, HENROB and TECHNO-WELD technologies;
- restoration of historic vehicle parts and vintage artefacts;
- reconditioning (with guarantee) of engine blocks, cylinder heads and other industrial castings using a (SEAL-LOCK and LOCK-&STITCH patented) cold process, which allows repair in situation -- without dismantling the whole engine or component.
RAMOTO Ltd. can supply the following tools and materials:
- NEWAY - valve seat cutters and tooling from the USA;
- TECHNO-WELD - low temperature (380°C) fusion welding materials and technology from the UK for welding of aluminium and its alloys, mazac and magnesium;
- ALUSEAL - special US-made plastic for the repair of aluminium automotive radiators. Melting temperature 180°C. Working pressure 4 bars;
- FLEX-HONE - unique abrasive instruments from the USA for deburring, deglazing and finish honing of cylinders and blocks, brake cylinders, hydraulic cylinders, brake and clutch disks. These instruments prolong the life expectancy of mating engine parts, shorten to minimum the break-in period, save petrol and oil.
