The RAMOTO limited liability company was established in the end of 1992 with an initial aim to rebuild historic vehicles, their component parts and to manufacture new spare parts. The company has grown and gathered strength over the years, several modern technologies have been mastered along with the acquisition of new tools and equipment. Valuable experience has been gained in the field of engine overhaul and repair of automotive parts - suitable for the rebuild of historic as well as modern vehicles.
RAMOTO Ltd. is one of a few companies of Latvia which, along with the adoption of modern technologies, is endeavouring to exercise old forgotten techniques of yesteryear which are a must in historic vehicle restoration (stove enamelling, pin striping, brazing, etc.).
In March of year 2001 RAMOTO Ltd. carried out the honourable task of bronze welding the stars of the Freedom Monument in Riga.
The RAMOTO company actively participates in organizing the International Round Kurland Rally for Historic Motorcycles.
