The company is currently concentrating on the diagnostics and repair of any cylinder heads, cast iron welding, steel and bronze brazing, welding of aluminium, mazac and magnesium alloys, flame spraying of nickel based alloys, cold repair of cracks in cast iron cylinder heads and blocks.

The company is offering for sale different engine reconditioning tools and materials, such as, NEWAY, FLEX-HONE, RAPID, SEAL-LOCK, TECHNO-WELD, BULLFINCH, etc.

Several surface treatment technologies have been acquired, such as sand blasting, bead blasting, phosphating and stove enamelling. RAMOTO Ltd. is using technologies, tools and materials mostly from Britain and the US. Line boring of camshaft and crankshaft bearing seats in cylinder heads and blocks is done with a new ZANROSSO line boring machine. Flame spraying is carried out using a MAC oxy/acetylene torch.

Next year the company will take on the boring and honing operations for cylinders and blocks. The company is constantly searching for new engine reconditioning technologies and is educating its staff in the field of engine reconditioning.

RAMOTO Ltd. is the official importer and distributor of various engine reconditioning tools and materials.

In 2003 Juris Ramba, Managing Director of RAMOTO Ltd., was issued with a TTQ qualification certificate in cylinder head service after attending courses in Britain.	In 1999 Juris Ramba, Managing Director of RAMOTO Ltd., was issued with a Grade 2 qualification certificate in Techno-Weld fusion welding after attending courses in Britain.
